1 valve overview and classification


The valve is a control component in the fluid delivery system, with the function of truncation, regulation, diversion, prevention of countercurrent, regulator, shunt or overflow relief.


Many types of valves, and a variety of classification methods:


First, according to the use and role of classification
1, cut off the valve class: mainly used to cut off or connect the media flow. Including the gate valve, globe valve, diaphragm valve, plug valve, ball valve, butterfly valve.
2, regulating valve: mainly used to adjust the media flow, pressure and so on. Including regulating valve, throttle valve, pressure reducing valve and so on.
3, check valve class: used to prevent the media back flow. Including a variety of structural check valves.
4, shunt valve class: for the distribution, separation or mixing media. Including a variety of structural distribution valves and traps.
5, safety valve: for overpressure safety protection. Including various types of safety valves.




Second, according to the main parameters of classification


1, press the pressure classification
(1) vacuum valve working pressure lower than the standard atmospheric pressure of the valve.
(2) low pressure valve nominal pressure PN <1.6MPa valve.
(3) the pressure valve nominal pressure PN <2.5 ~ 6.4Mpa the valve.
(4) high pressure valve nominal pressure PN10.0 ~ 80.0Mpa the valve.
(5) ultra-high pressure valve nominal pressure PN ≥ 100Mpa the valve.


2, according to the media working temperature classification
(1) high temperature valve t> 450 ℃ valve.
(2) temperature valve 120 ℃ ≤ t <450 ℃ valve.
(3) room temperature valve -40 ℃ ≤ t <120 ℃ valve.
(4) low temperature valve -100 ℃ ≤ t <-40 ℃ valve.
(5) ultra-low temperature valve t <-100 ℃ valve.


3, according to the valve body material classification
(1) non-metallic materials such as ceramic valves, glass and plastic valves, plastic valves.
(2) metal material valves such as copper alloy valves, aluminum alloy valves, lead alloy valves, titanium valves, iron valves, carbon steel valves, low alloy steel valves, high alloy steel valves.
(3) metal body lining valves such as lining lead valves, lined with plastic valves, lining enamel valves.
